Vasari Corridor is a GetYourGuide partner. If you book a tour or ticket through a link or a booking widget on this site, I may earn a commission. You pay exactly what you would pay going to GetYourGuide yourself.

What that means in practice

The tour cards and availability widgets on this site go to GetYourGuide. If you book after using one, GetYourGuide pays me a share of what you paid. There is no markup at your end and nothing added at checkout. Those links carry rel="nofollow", as paid links should. The links to the Uffizi’s own site and ticket shop earn me nothing at all, and I use them wherever they are the better answer, which is often.

Whether it changes what I write

Judge that against the site rather than against a promise. The first thing I tell you on almost every page is that the official ticket covers the Uffizi and the corridor for less than any product I could earn from, and the page on booking it earns me nothing. The audio app ticket review leads with its low score and its price over the official one. The reserved ticket review says its perfect score rests on ten reviews. And every page that shows a listing with an “optional” corridor says that its from-price leaves the corridor out.

What the commission pays for is the time to read the museum’s rules and the listings themselves, rather than copying another guide’s summary. Questions about any of this? Email me.
